It’s another day and things definitely don’t seem to be looking up in Afghanistan.
As we all know, the airport in Kabul is an absolute disaster, where the entire outside is being controlled by the Taliban and now ISIS has joined the party.
But things just got a lot worse for the Americans who are desperately trying to escape to their homeland inside the airport…a lot worse. It’ dire at this point.
According to reports that are just hitting the wire, the U.S. Embassy in Kabul is telling any Americans inside the airport to leave immediately due to a security threat.
It’s not clear exactly what this “threat” is, but the Australian Foreign Ministry did warn that it could very well be a “terrorist attack” from ISIS.

The U.S. Embassy in Kabul issued a security alert early Thursday morning warning Americans to leave the Kabul airport due to a “security threat.”
“Because of security threats outside the gates of Kabul airport, we are advising U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a U.S. government representative to do so,” the alert said. “U.S. citizens who are at the Abbey Gate, East Gate, or North Gate now should leave immediately.”
The State Department would not comment on the exact nature of the threat, but told the Daily Caller “this is a dynamic and volatile security situation on the ground.” The Australian Foreign Ministry issued a warning of a “very high threat of terrorist attack” at the Kabul Hamid Karzai International Airport around the same time as the U.S. Embassy alert.
This is an absolute disaster and then to make matters even worse, it’s being reported that the Taliban has possibly seized control of cellular towers and will be cutting the service.
Confirmed: #Taliban seized cell towers.
PLEASE RT b4 it’s too late to tell them!

White House briefing says they’re in touch with all Americans in Kabul. But I understand there’s a growing fear the Taliban might soon start cutting the cell phone towers in the city.

Each day just brings a new set of horrors in Afghanistan and honestly, it’s scary to contemplate what could happen next.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration has convinced themselves that they have this chaotic mess completely under control and are even taking shameful “victory laps.”
