Joe Biden made a promise to his supporters to halt the building of the border wall. On his first day of office, Biden, through Executive Orders and in office memos, paused the billions of taxpayer dollars allocated to finish securing the southern border through the building of a wall.
The left sued the Trump administration countless times for issues along the border, including exhausting attempts to halt the building of the wall. But time and time again, courts ruled on the side of the Trump administration. The border wall is not only a constitutionally legal way of protecting our country, but it is a necessary kindness to the human tragedy that flourishes when our border’s doors are left open.
Joe Biden’s crisis at the border is proof of what happens when the evil policies of open borders are put into place. Thousands of migrant children are taking turns being able to sit down or lay down because the cages weren’t built to house that many people. Children crying to translators about enduring torture, rape, and death along the journey that many of them never chose to take. They were forced to make the trip because Biden signaled to their countrymen that the time to enter was now, and they are by the thousands.
Republicans aren’t the only critics of Biden’s border policies as reports state that “the Government Accountability Office is launching a review to determine whether the new president broke the law by freezing the money in violation of budget rules designed to keep Congress in control of the cash flow, the federal watchdog confirmed this week.”
70 House Republicans asked the Government Accountability Office to give an “opinion” on the status of Joe Biden’s border wall funding pause. This is the typical procedure for the federal watchdog group – a member of Congress requests the opinion, and the watchdog group will then offer it.

The statement says in part:
“We are writing to be added as co-requesters of a March 17, 2021 letter, signed by 40 United States Senators, requesting the Government Accountability Office’s investigation and legal opinion on the actions of the Biden Administration to suspend border wall construction and to order a freeze of funds provided by Congress for that purpose, which we believe violated the Impoundment Control Act.”
Republican Roy Blunt complained about Biden’s illegal activity, saying that Biden’s years in the senate should have prepared him better. Sen. Blunt, “He was in Congress a long time. He knows it’s the Congress’ job to authorize how the money is spent and the president’s job to spend it efficiently.”
President Trump faced an expensive and lengthy impeachment trial in the Senate for blocking aid to Ukraine. It’s objectively worse to halt funding to secure your country’s border – an issue that should be on the forefront of every U.S. President – than it is to halt funding to a historically corrupt country. I bet Nancy Pelosi’s corrupt Congress will put aside their massive spending bills and overturning Iowa elections to impeach Joe Biden.
