After Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) read aloud a text made by Fox News anchor Sean Hannity to Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows during the Capitol brawl on Monday, Hannity addressed the issue on Tuesday. Both Cheney and Hannity saw the document on Monday, only a few hours apart, but neither mentioned it.

On his radio broadcast Tuesday afternoon, Hannity explored the issue, then subsequently on Fox News.

As Hannity put it last night, “Congresswoman Cheney provided one of my text conversations from January 6th to Mark Meadows in an effort to defame both yours self and probably, I think, President Trump.” Surprise, surprise: I told Mark Meadows exactly what I had been saying live on the radio and on television that night on January 6th and much beyond that night. As if that wasn’t bad enough, my private text messages have been re-released in the media. In our nation, do we believe in privacy? “It seems to be the case.”

Hannity referred to himself as a “honest and truthful guy” in a statement. When I’m alone, I say the same things that I say to you all.”

In addition, Fox News anchor Liz Cheney is well aware of the facts. Is she even bothered? She’s simply interested in discrediting Trump and expelling him from the Republican Party.”

According to Hannity, Trump has been asked by “sources” to pardon Dick Cheney’s former chief of staff, Scooter Libby. His pardon was granted by Trump in 2018. The Fox News personality stated that the Cheneys’ conversations with Trump should be made public.

According to Liz, “Isn’t it time to share Liz’s cell phone records and messages as well as the conversations you and your family have about Donald Trump?”

“You’re a rock star now to the media mob,” he said afterwards. Temporarily. Once again, they’ll betray you.
