This is how Mark Abbott looked when he lived on the streets 15 years ago:

“I had been renting a place with a friend at the time and it didn’t work out well. So I ended up couch surfing and then living in a dorm for nine months “Abbott said that, and I agree.

“Because of that, I know how important it is to have a place you can go back to. As a result, I used the light show to raise money for St. Martin’s, a group for people who are homeless.”

In Abbott’s house, there are a lot of lights, music, and a sleigh on the front lawn that can hold four kids. Besides that, he has a snow machine and a light-covered archway to help people find their way to the front door.

People from all over the country are coming to see the home of the 44-year-old father-of-three, who lives in Norwich. Some of them even drive more than three hours to see it.

Abbott hopes that the winter wonderland will raise money for St Martin’s in Norwich, a charity that helps rough sleepers, couch surfers, and people who are at risk of becoming homeless.
