FINALLY. FINALLY. FINALLY.
Americans are pushing back against the racist theories promoted in Robin DiAngelo’s training – Confronting Racism, with Robin DiAngelo. The ‘White Fragility’ author sold the training package to LinkedIn to be part of their ‘LinkedIn Learning platform.” LinkedIn then packaged her blatant racism and sold it to major corporations like Coca-Cola.
For years material like DiAngelo’s secretly made its way into corporate sensitivity training. Americans were told to believe that because slavery was a part of our nation’s history, part of atoning for our forefathers’ sins is to constantly be reminded of that sin.
This normally is fine; I believe that one’s history tarnished or wholesome must be remembered, so we don’t repeat the bad. i.e., Holocaust, Armenia genocide, current Uyghur genocide
That was before the training went from facing uncomfortable truths with a hint of racism to full-blown “try to be less white” racism. The slides spread through social media after famed psychologist Karlyn Borysenko Ph.D. tweeted the leaked slides: “BREAKING: Coca-Cola is forcing employees to complete online training telling them to “try to be less white.”

DiAngelo’s training is based on the idea that all white people are inherently racist. Meaning that if you are white, regardless of your background or your societal status, you are a racist.
If you are white, but both of your adoptive parents are black, you are still a racist. It doesn’t matter what your personal views actually are to people like DiAngelo. All they have to do is look at the color of your skin and determine that you could only be an oppressive, arrogant bigot determined to put your white foot on the throat of any POC wishing to rise above.
It’s not like Coca-Cola or LinkedIn woke up out of the blue and said, ‘hey, let’s hire a racist to teach racism to our employees.’ No, it’s been a slow-burning magma melting its way through our society.
Americans are now seeing the harmful effects of allowing critical race theory to become the bedrock of our education, political, and societal systems. People like DiAngelo are receiving harsh criticism for promoting that racism could somehow be passed down through our DNA.
People, JUSTIFIABLY, were outraged that this racist peddling hack’s material infiltrated one of America’s biggest corporations that sells Americans sweet, sweet Americana. Americans asked, “How can a company that’s made billions of dollars off of white American culture turn around and with a straight face tell its employees to “try to be less white?”
Twitter users sounded off:
@STippy: “History shows giving preferential treatment to a race not only divides people but inevitably has an opposite effect.”
@EnglishClarion: “Change the word “white” to “black” or “Asian,” and suddenly it’s racist. Totally not racist when aimed at white people, though.”
@XehaGroyp: “White people are being told to be less white to be able to work. They are being treated like sub-humans simply because they are white. It’s disgusting and evil.”
@TheRightMelissa: “This is disgusting. The same people that historically promoted hatred of black people are now promoting hatred of white people.”
When Monday morning came, LinkedIn had successfully avoided scrutiny even though Coca-Cola bought their training from LinkedIn. Outrage culture doesn’t always stop to look at the root of the problem, which is undoubted, DiAngelo and LinkedIn.
Every anger-inducing slide and video, like the 11-minute video – Understanding What it Means to be White, Challenging What it Means to be Racist – was written by DiAngelo. She says, ‘In the US and other Western nations, white people are socialized to feel that they are inherently superior because they are white.’
The course was pushed for consumption through ads that claim that DiAngelo “gives you the vocabulary and practices you need to start confronting racism and unconscious bias at the individual level and throughout your organization.”
None of this matters because, as far as DiAngelo and LinkedIn were concerned, Coca-Cola was taking this hit, and they were likely going to wait out the storm. That was until Coca-Cola confirmed that the videos were available for employees because LinkedIn offered the training, but that at no point did Coca-Cola force its employees to take the training.
Coca-Cola offered it as part of their inclusivity training – Better Together – that includes “a number of short vignettes, each a few minutes long” but only through LinkedIn and “was not a part of the company’s curriculum.” Coca-Cola said that they “will continue to listen to our employees and refine our learning programs as appropriate.”
Coca-Cola effectively washed their hands of the scandal while forcing LinkedIn’s hand into the mud. In a miraculous turn of events, the good guys won one. When you travel to the LinkedIn website in an attempt to get to DiAngelo’s anti-white racist training program, you receive an error message.

Instead of being told to “try to be less white,” LinkedIn’s error message says, “We’re sorry! The course Confronting Racism, with Robin DiAngelo (by) has been retired.” Robin DiAngelo has been de-platformed by LinkedIn. What is it that Democrats like to tell us as they erase us from their platform? Oh yeah, this is a private company that is allowed to do what they want.
The Coca-Cola boycott was never going to accomplish anything. The number of people outraged enough to never buy another ‘Coke’ product again wouldn’t have made a dent in their profits.
However, LinkedIn doesn’t have near the buying power and financial stability to handle a full fledge boycott and thus made the wise decision to cut the training. The fight doesn’t end here. If we want to win the culture war and change the tides, stop joining the outrage culture without doing your research. Find the culprit and set your sites on the LinkedIns of the world that give DiAngelo’s racism credibility it doesn’t deserve.
