Republicans are gearing up to defend the toad, Brian Kemp against Georgia’s own Democrat vote fair, Stacey Abrams. Gov. Kemp barely beat Stacey Abrams in the 2018 election for Georgia’s governor and only managed to squeak by after receiving a late and much-needed endorsement by then President Trump.
“A new outside group launched on Monday to target Democratic activist and former gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams, who is all but certain to challenge Republican Gov. Brian Kemp of Georgia next year in a rematch of their 2018 election showdown,” reports Fox News.
The report says that a “new independent committee, known as ‘Stop Stacey,’ say they will build a ‘robust state and national fundraising operation.” The group sets its aim on Abrams and plans to mount their offensive strategy “with opposition research, digital ads, and other paid media.”
The group released a press statement to Fox News describing themselves as “a national grassroots organization of engaged conservatives who are committed to protecting our future from Stacey Abrams, her left-wing backers, and their radical, un-American agenda.”
It is cute that Fox keeps allowing the group to call themselves “a grassroots organization” when those launching the committee worked on Gov. Kemp’s last campaign against Abrams and Kelly Loeffler’s dumpster-fire 2020 campaign. Grassroots Republicans would support knocking both Kemp and Abrams out of the governor’s office after the events surrounding the 2020 general election.

Georgia has serious issues with its elections. The last people Americans need to be donating money to are fake grassroots campaigns that are just Republican grifters raising money off of your stress and anger.
A senior strategist for the Republicans who worked for Kemp’s 2018 campaign, Jeremy Brand, said in a statement, “after losing the White House and United States Senate in 2020, grassroots Republicans across Georgia and America are standing together to stop radical Stacey Abrams. There is no time to waste: We must stand up, fight back and Stop Stacey.”
The group has reportedly received seed money in the six-figure range and complains that it has to “compete with Abram’s network, which has raised nearly $100 million to date.” ‘Big Business’ spends its money with Democrats because they know they’ll see the return on investment.
Gov. Brian Kemp is not worthy of the Republican vote. Kemp repeatedly spit in the face of Georgia voters and did not secure election integrity before the senate run-off. I expect Kemp to get as many re-election votes as he does family members eligible to vote in Georgia; anything more than that will be a miscarriage of justice.
President Trump already promised to campaign for the candidate brave enough to primary the Republican establishment candidate. President Trump said, “I’ll be here in about a year and a half campaigning against your governor. I guarantee that.”
President Trump, the American people, not only want you to campaign against Gov. Kemp but every single Republican that turned their back on American voters.
