Freedom House reports that “after experiencing a gradual decline in respect for political rights and civil liberties over the past decade, the United States is now facing an acute crisis for democracy.” Don’t get your conservative hopes up, as the first sentence doesn’t mean what you think it means.
The Freedom House report had the audacity to blame the United States’ freedom issues on the January 6th event at the Capitol. I assumed the fanatical reporting on the Capitol was largely ignored by those with the intelligence to see the “insurrection” narrative for what it was – a psyop.
No, there are really those in America and around the world who believe that Donald Trump instructed his supporters to attack the Capitol. Freedom House writes – unironically – “The country avoided the worst possible outcomes. Police, at great cost, protected members of Congress from harm.” This was written even though multiple members of both chambers of Congress said at no time did they ever feel like they were in immediate danger. There is also the small issue of video evidence showing Capitol police ushering in protestors.
If you haven’t been following Julie Kelly‘s reporting on this from American Greatness, you need to start. She deserves a Pulitzer for her investigative journalism but won’t get one because she isn’t part of the mainstream media, and she reports the other side of the elitist narrative.
In her article, No Proof January 6 Was An ‘Armed Insurrection,’ she writes:

“The media continue to promote any number of fabricated storylines intended to bolster the laughable narrative of an “insurrection” occurring at the Capitol. The concocted account of the death of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick recently fell apart; the New York Times, after pressure from outlets including American Greatness, effectively retracted its January 8 article claiming Sicknick was killed by a fire extinguisher at the hands of Trump “loyalists.”
So now it’s time to straighten out another twisted tale animating the folklore of January 6: The idea the random chaos amounted to an “armed insurrection.” Hundreds of crazed Trumpists carrying deadly weapons, the public believes, stormed the Capitol to injure or kill senators, representatives, and even Vice President Mike Pence in order to avenge a “stolen” election.
I reviewed the charges filed against the more than 200 people arrested for criminal misconduct related to January 6 and found only 14 defendants face any sort of weapons charge. Offenses vary; indictments range from possession of a “deadly” weapon on “restricted” grounds to assaulting a police officer.
But so far, just two people have been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm—and there’s no proof either man “breached” the Capitol let alone threatened lawmakers as part of a coordinated, armed insurrection.”
She lays out over several reports the facts and breaks the chains of the Democrat and mainstream media narrative. You walk away sad that this is where your country is and angry that this lie is being bought by those who should know better.
Freedom House says that the January 6th psyop wasn’t the only reason for the decline in freedom in America but that our “problems … had been accumulating for years.” The report states, “Freedom House has been tracking a gradual decline in respect for political rights and civil liberties in the United States over the past decade.”
It says that just a decade ago, the United States received a score of 94 out of 100, but that now the United States received a low score of 83. The report is more frustrating than I care to admit mainly due to the issue of the writer having a terrible case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, but mostly because although the idea – American freedom is on the decline due to a gradual decline in respect for political rights and civil liberties – is correct. The connection to Trump is faulty.
The report would have you believe that Americans are being stifled of civil liberties because Donald Trump didn’t rely on the global system when creating his American first domestic policies. This makes the world angry. They need us, not the other way around.
The reality is scarier. White conservatives are being targeted, and our rights are being stifled. The entire world sits back and laughs; writing hit job reports to bolster the Democrat narrative around the world.
